Thank you for attending the Annual Statewide Conference. The ACEA Board, Andrea, Valerie, the President-Elect Monica, the ALSDE, and ALACN are truly grateful for all your ongoing efforts and sacrifices, as you continue to meet the needs of our state’s children and families.

As promised, below are the information, upcoming opportunities, links, and resources discussed during the General Sessions of the Conference. Hopefully, each of the Breakout sessions were highly informative and useful to you as well.  Click the images below for Details and Registration information. For more information on upcoming events visit our Upcoming Events Calendar.

The World’s First Robotics Competition in Space

Based on the International Space Station and Judged by the Astronauts!

Once again, in coordination with NASA and MIT, ALACN will be hosting the Zero Robotics Competition in our state.  The Competition targets Middle School students and culminates with a live, interactive session of the students’ accomplishments being uploaded, critiqued and judged by the Astronauts on the International Space Station. We are working to secure additional Field Day and Final Competition Day locations in the southern portion of our state, so students statewide will have the opportunity to participate. More information to follow.

To register your Summer Program, please complete the REGISTRATION FORM.

If you do not serve Middle School students, please help us spread the word by disseminating the information to your list of contacts.

Finally, please take advantage of our new STEM Resource Page. There you will find an endless supply of information to equip your program with greater STEM learning and engagement.
